About

index.wine is a new wine sales platform for wine professionals in Europe. Spain's most interesting old-school, small batch wine producers easily bought on index.wine and shipped directly from the winery without passing through intermediaries, warehouses or importers. All duties paid and ready to be added to a wine list or resold commercially. We negotiate wine allocations with each individual winery and send available stocks exclusively through our mailing list. Allocations can then be purchased directly on our platform on a strict first come, first served basis.

From the Basque Country's unknown whites to Alicante's Mediterranean forgotten red varieties, index.wine carefully selects the wineries to create a unique index of the country's most idiosyncratic and honest producers.
We sell in the price range of a traditional wine distributor but without massive minimum orders. We currently ship duty-paid ready for commercial use to France, Italy, Belgium, Sweden, Denmark, Netherlands, Finland, United Kingdom and Switzerland. Keep in mind that not all of our wineries ship to all countries on this list. On the bottom of each winery profile you'll find the list of countries.

Please visit our frequently asked questions or shipping and payment page for more information.

If you're interested in joining our list, please write us an email to info@index.wine or leave us your contact details on this form.

Based in the mountains of the Basque Country in northern Spain, index.wine was born to bridge the disconnect between wine producers from across the country working with old school, small batch, artisanal methods and the wider professional European market that has limited access to these wines.

index.wine is an iniciative created to foster the development of rural areas and rural economy and was part of the European Union's LEADER (Liaison Entre Actions de Développement de l'Économie Rurale) program in 2018.
